AJAX International Group are pleased to announce that we have recently formed a contractual association with Actura Risk Management (“Actura RM”), a provider of Risk Management services for the insurance industry in Singapore and Asia.
Actura RM was founded by its CEO, Asia and Lead Risk Manager, Stephen Rollo-Smith, who has qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, Engineer and a Risk Manager. Although raised and educated in Europe, he has spent much of his professional life in Asia, especially in the ASEAN region. He has a detailed knowledge of the risk factors and market process specific to this region. In addition to his extensive knowledge of construction, civil engineering CAR exposures, he has practical experience of engineering, machinery, marine, petrochemical and power generation losses, and led on over 30 major factory losses in the Thailand Floods and has since been constantly involved in major hurricane/typhoon, earthquake and fire losses in the region, most recently on a major CAR loss on a F&B site in Cambodia. He is a recognized expert to the courts of law, a claims mediator and has considerable experience in the field of ART.
Following the association, Stephen has also been appointed as in-house Senior Consultant for AJAX International Group, to lead on Major Fire, CAR and Catastrophe Claims.
The association of AJAX and Actura RM has enhanced AJAX’s capability in handling Specialist claims, Complex losses and Risk Management Surveys for the following classes –
