Ong Hock Siong is a scholar under the sponsorship of the PSA for post graduate study in the fields of Ports and Shipping Administration.
Starting as a Trainee Officer at the PSA after obtaining his basic degree in 1970, Ong proved his capability and was promoted to the position of Deputy Traffic Manager of PSA Tanjong Pagar Container Terminal which is the largest and busiest port terminal in Singapore.
After leaving the PSA, Ong worked with several shipping, logistics and consulting companies assuming senior positions such as Operations Manager, General Manager and Managing Director.
